Investing in African Entrepreneurs

Presentation by Idris Bello, Afropreneur (Founding Partner & Portfolio Manager at Loftyinc Capital Management).

Since leaving Oxford in 2012, after his Msc in Global Health Science program at Kellogg College, the Afropreneur as he is popularly called, Idris has played a lead role in building the African technology ecosystem, mentored and catalyzed scores of contributors across the growing African landscape.

He cofounded the Loftyinc Afropreneur Fund, and the Afropreneur Angel Group which have invested millions of dollars in over 30 early stage companies in Africa including Andela and Flutterwave , while training over 7000 entrepreneurs through the Wennovation Hub which he also cofounded.
