Providing Healthcare at an Individual, Community and Population level

Presentation by Poojan Shrestha (Clinical researcher, Cancer advocate, Dental Surgeon)

Having completed the MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine in 2015-16, Poojan has been working in various capacities as a researcher of infectious diseases and oral health; a cancer advocate; and a clinician and more recently as a candidate for a PhD in Epidemiology. In this session, he will be sharing some of my personal experiences serving as a cancer advocate in Nepal, a researcher in a resource-limited setting, and as a clinician working with individual patients. In addition to talking about the implications of serving at different levels, he will highlight some of the non-COVID effects he and his team have come across during the COVID-19 pandemic.
