Sidhya has done her Bachelors in Commerce (Honours) from Shri Ram College of Commerce Delhi. Deeply passionate and committed to the social sector since an early age, she spent her time during her undergraduate in running a microfinance project with 100 rickshaw pullers as part of ENACTUS. She then went on to spearhead a Central Government funded Placement Linked Skill Development Program for Below Poverty Line Rural Youth in central India for 2 years. While implementing this project, she got selected for and attended the Goldman Sachs10000 Women Entrepreneur Programme at ISB, Hyderabad. Realising her deep interest in empowering communities towards their sustained socio-emotional and economic development, she took a volunteering project for 6 months with UnLimited Tamil Nadu, a social start-up incubator, part of UnLimited UK and worked closely with 5 social entrepreneurs.

Sidhya founded a school in 2016, she works with her Teachers, Management, Support Staff and Parents to provide a space for children to grow up to be empowered adults at The VITS School, Satna. She is also the COO of BAF Consultants, a firm that focuses on sustainable value creation for family businesses.

Sidhya is currently based in New Delhi, India.
