Sagoon Bhetwal is a proud feminist from Nepal who graduated with a degree in social sciences in 2022. She has since then been working as a researcher and recently led a research project on "Nominations and Electability: The Role of Gender Norms in Nepal's Local Elections". Sagoon is also the Board President of an NGO named Women LEAD Nepal which has been working to build a better world where women leaders co-create the future.

After her time in Oxford, she hopes to contribute to the social welfare of her country while also paving path towards creation of a social enterprise.
