Lamiya has been working as an Inspector on International Affairs, for the Commission for the Protection of Rights of Entrepreneurs. She was previously a Leading Inspector for the Coordination of Inspections of Business Activities. She has a BA (Hons.) in Commercial Law, Westminster International University in Tashkent and a Master of Laws, Westminster International University in Tashkent. Lamiya is particularly interested in the rule of law and economic development, in the connection between stable and predictable legal frameworks, and in generating an appropriate environment for economic growth. She aspires to become a legislator and participate in her country´s institutional reform.
