Aristide is an alumnus of the Mastercard Foundation at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) - Ghana with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. During his time at KNUST, he served as the International Relations Coordinator under the Student Representative Council and led multiple student-centred projects. Passionate about research in his field and driven by the zeal to give back to his community, Aristide returned to his home country (DR Congo) after graduation. Since then, he has been working as an Environmental Researcher and Development lead at the Centre for Research and Scientific Expertise – CRES. By joining the Oxford community, he hopes to enhance his knowledge in a fast-paced environment and ultimately, work in the domain of environmental management in DR Congo and globally, specifically in the environmental policy design and implementation space.
