Ana Baiadze is the Head of the Legal Research Group at the Bank of Georgia and an Invited Lecturer at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Ana holds a master's degree in Private Law from the Free University of Tbilisi and two bachelor's degrees in Law and Economics. Ana has contributed to key legal reforms in Georgia, including the Labour Code, Law on Entrepreneurs, and Law on Payment Services.
A politically charged court case against her father, which lasted for eight years before he was found innocent, and her experience of the 2008 Russian-Georgian war, fuelled her passion for justice. She aims to leverage her Oxford MSc in Law and Finance to enhance governance, help align Georgia's legal framework with EU regulations, and inspire future generations as an innovative lecturer.
