Amina is a Syrian pharmacy graduate from Ege University in Izmir, Turkey. During and after her studies, she worked and volunteered in several INGOs and local civil society associations active in health, protection, and social cohesion sectors and lastly in public health as a hospital pharmacist in Turkey.

She is currently the Health Expert at a Third-Party Monitoring company where she oversees the medical technical part of monitoring the World Health Organization's Medical Emergency Supply Chain to Northwest Syria. She has experience in developing data collection tools, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis in addition to field activities’ coordination and training. With a special interest in access to health services in conflict-affected zones and post-disaster medicine, she plans to take a role in unifying interdisciplinary efforts to provide equitable health services, and building capacities for adaptive healthcare systems which can operate in limited contexts.
