Presentation by Thai Dang, Co-Founder of 96B Cafe’ and Roastery.

After finishing her Mphil in Politics at Oxford University as a Weidenfeld Scholar, Thai worked in Saigon for 6 months and in Hong Kong for a year before realising that the only thing that makes her happy in life is coffee. After debating and pondering various scenarios, she chose to follow her passion in the F&B industry, where she believes that only by running her own business could she get a firmer grasp on her life direction, personal development, and having an ideal environment to apply her various skills.

At 96B, Thai is in charge of various aspects of operations, design, marketing, and long-term planning. Having lived in Korea, the Netherlands, Kenya, England, Hong Kong and visited 50+ countries, she brings in her own experience and outlook on the industry, while firmly believing in the future of Vietnamese coffee.
