Nomcazululo is a global health and development practitioner with over 10 years of experience working in a cross-section of Non-Governmental Organisations in Zimbabwe.
She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the Midlands State University in Zimbabwe. Following her studies in Oxford, she joined the Maiden Lab and the Brueggemann Group at the University of Oxford as an African Research fellow (2020/2021) for the Molecular Epidemiology for Vaccination Policy (MEVacP) project. The project aims to improve the understanding of meningitis in Africa, a region with the highest burden of the disease.
Currently, Nomcazululo is the Director and Co-founder of e-Kaya (an online gallery of African Art). It is a project with Sarah Motsatse (WHT Alumna), which came as a result of the WHT Business Challenge. This project is aimed at providing a comprehensive and one-stop platform for selling art to different global markets and supporting local artists to gain a broader range of clients. She is also working as a research consultant for various projects focused on health, gender, youth and adolescents.
Nomcazululo is based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
