Nadja Skaljic is an international lawyer specializing in public international law and political systems and theories. She is a member of the Advisory Board at WHT.
At Oxford University, Nadja pursued the Magister Juris Degree as a Roland Berger Scholar. She also holds a degree in international affairs from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Boston, United States. As part of the Fletcher programs, she also studied public policy and law at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Harvard Law School.
Nadja was Senior Policy Advisor in the European Parliament in Brussels. She worked in the field of foreign affairs, international law, and security and defense. Nadja’s other professional experiences include working for the Prosecutor’s office of the UN war crimes tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague, where she helped prepare evidence in the genocide case against Radovan Karadzic. She also served as a Senior Fellow for Europe at the New York-based Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs.
Nadja currently resides in Geneva, Switzerland, from where she is advising on international law, political risk, and trade sanctions.
