Lina is a climate journalist and activist. She is the Operations Manager at Climate Tracker, where she implements capacity-building programs for environmental activists from all over the world. She covers the global United Nations climate change negotiations and writes for several national and international publications. She is also a junior researcher at City, University of London, where she is researching media freedom in times of crisis. Lina has previously worked at Landell Mills as a consultant on the Global Climate Change Alliance Plus program. She has been awarded the Mandela Washington Fellowship in 2020 and she holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Khartoum.
