Darin Hussein holds MSc in International Development from University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. She currently holds the position of Country Manager at Palestine Association for Children’s Encouragement of Sport (PACES) in Palestine. In her early career, Darin received the Alumni Impact Award from the State Department (Washington, DC, USA) for volunteering and making exchange programs between the University of Michigan (USA) and Education for Employment foundation in Palestine. In addition, she won a grant to conduct an awareness campaign titled “Women Entrepreneurship” to encourage university students to start their own business across the West Bank. Darin completed the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship at the University of Minnesota, where she expanded her knowledge in economic development and strategic management in order to help Palestinian youth find sustainable employment solutions and become contributing members to the economy. Today, with over 10 years of experience in the development sector in Palestine, Darin has assisted in creating pathways to help youth build the skills and attitudes they need to participate in a productive workforce.
