Adiya is a PhD economist and economic data scientist, who is currently working as Data Scientist at Deliveroo. Previously, she worked at the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK. She specializes in the field of household finance and regulation. Her research informs the FCA's policy thinking and decision making. Adiya is passionate about Diversity and Inclusion and co-leads the agenda among data scientists at the FCA.
Her research has been published in peered reviewed academic journals and selected papers have been cited by the British media outlets. Moreover, her research made a significant contribution towards important policy decisions in the consumer credit markets in the UK.
