Aaron is an environment and water scientist who believes in doing ordinary things extraordinarily. He has volunteered with a number of organisations including recently as a UN volunteer at World Vision Uganda, integrating environment sustainability, climate change, water and sanitation into World Vision Programming in the area.
Aaron is currently working as Climate Change Researcher at International Institute for Environment and Development.
Whilst at University he co-founded a youth platform called Friends of Environment, which has since focused on youth mentorship and environmental activism including raising awareness on climate change and promoting access to clean water and sanitation services. He also led a group of students in promoting resource efficiency and a sustainable university, which significantly contributed to the design and inception of Makerere Sustainability agenda.
Aaron was a Makerere University Nile fellow for the Nile Project, a program bringing together young leaders from major Universities in the Nile Basin to drive the Nile waters sustainability movement. His dream is to improve the lives of the most vulnerable including women, girls and the marginalised across Africa through his passion for mentorship, water and sanitation, agriculture and entrepreneurship.
